There are many tools, teachings, and heart work I have partaken in and been a part of to bring me here writing this article about how to walk the path of the advocate. That path gave me the tools to develop a structure for other advocates. I will share those tools within this Community but the first step of walking the path of an advocate is choosing self-care for yourself. That can look like anything from gardening, playing music to yoga, whatever it is that brings light in your eyes and makes you feel that special connection to yourself, that is Self-Care. Once you embrace this, you can then begin the next steps of Advocacy.
